- What currency are your rates based in?
All rates and prices listed on this site are in Canadian Dollars. I can provide a rough estimate of price conversions to a currency of your choice, however I cannot guarantee that the exact amount will be reflected by all banks or money transaction systems, or that these money services may include additional fees. Please consult with the fine print in your preferred payment methods before signing a contract for my services.
- Are you able to help with resumes or cover letters?
Yes. I have over 10 years experience editing resumes, cover letters, and job applications for various fields. Contact me for rates.
- Should I use your services online or in-person?
Contact me with the details of what kind of help you are looking for and we can work together to find a suitable option for you and your learning style. My in-person availability may be more limited, and I will let you know if I do not feel that I am able to support you in a way that would be most beneficial to your needs before taking payment.
- Can you accommodate me if I have a tight deadline?
It may take me up to 3 business days to respond to your inquiry, and it will not be until I send my response to you that I will be able to inform of you of my availability. If you are in urgent need of help within that week or sooner, I suggest looking at other resources.
If you are a returning or current customer with a similar project to what we've worked on prior, I might be able accommodate you. Contact me as soon as possible to make arrangements.
- Can you fact-check the technical details in my work?
No. My services do not include performing research. You are responsible for your own research and the accuracy of your sources.
- I am not located in Calgary/Alberta/Canada. Can I still use your services?
Yes. I can perform many of my services via email or video call. If you are inquiring about tutoring services, please give me the details of the specific subject matter you need help with; I cannot guarantee my familiarity with alternative curriculum. I will give you an honest response about my abilities and comfort with your project needs, as well as any alternative schedule or rates possible for me to accommodate you.
- Should parents be involved with the tutoring, and in what way?
I make it a contractual requirement that all students under the age of 15 must have a legal adult visible on-site when I am working with them through video call or in-person. This helps ensures your child's safety as well as provides additional support for your child's learning; my hope is that your child and your family will feel more confident in using these learning skills and may not need to rely on a paid service in future.
- What if I change my mind and no longer want to use your services?
Cancelation terms will be outlined in your contract. Any services agreed to in the contract must be paid at least 50% even if canceled before delivery. Any services delivered must be paid in full.
In some cases, these services may be rescheduled without additional charges.
